The FSIC partnered with the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (ACOI) recently on an event titled “Update on Regulatory Structures in Financial Services in Ireland”.  Mr. Matthew Elderfield , Head of Financial Regulation , Central Bank of Ireland and Mr. John Murphy, Head of Group Regulatory, Compliance and Operational Risk, Bank of Ireland were the speakers at the event located in the Aula Maxima in UCC.

Glenbrook Payments Boot Camp comes to Europe in conjunction with the FSIC.

FSIC and European partners awarded €4.4M in Framework 7 Science-in-Society call

The FSIC is pleased to announce they were one of a 15 member consortium of European Universities to be awarded a €4.4M Coordination and Support Action in the 2010 Framework 7 Science-in-Society call. The project title is Parliaments and Civil Society in Technology Assessment (PACITA).


FSIC present “Innovations in Financial Services” at Annual FSI Conference

The FSIC presented an overview of “Innovations in Financial Services” at their 2010 Annual FSI (Financial Services Ireland www.fsi.ie ) Conference in the Four Seasons Hotel. FSI is the principal trade association for financial services in Ireland and is an affiliate association to IBEC, the Irish Business and Employers Confederation.

FSIC and “Innovation in the Business of Outsourcing” Conference

JB McCarthy, Development Director of the FSIC, chaired the recent “Innovation in the Business of Outsourcing” conference held in the IMI on February 4th 2010. FSIC Selected to Present at Financial Services Innovation Forum

The FSIC were one of the premier third level research groups to present at the Financial Services Innovation Forum hosted by Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland on Monday 7th December 2009. This half day event showcased current research and innovation capability within Irish third level organisations relevant to financial services companies based in Ireland.
